My name is Mel and I offer Ayurvedic consultations and therapies to help you live a healthy, balanced and joyful life.

In a busy and distracted world my aim is to invite you to take time to reconnect and listen to your body. Whether it is to stay in balance, destress or to help with a pre-existing health issue, by introducing simple lifestyle changes into your daily routine you can help improve your individual, optimum health. Offering diet and lifestyle advice as well as body therapies from the holistic healing system of Ayurveda, I hope to show you how you can easily integrate Ayurvedic practices into the everyday to help improve both your physical, mental and emotional health.

About Ayurveda

Ayurveda is translated as the ‘science of life’ (‘ayur’' meaning life and ‘veda’ meaning knowledge) and is one of the worlds oldest holistic mind and body sciences. Ayurveda is a natural, integrated healthcare system of herbal medicine, therapies, lifestyle and dietary observances which developed in India over 5,000 years ago. 

The benefits of Ayurveda to relieve suffering are many.  Ayurveda treats the whole person and includes; herbal medicine, dietary advice, daily routine and lifestyle observances, exercise, mind and body therapies, mental health and lifestyle advice.
